Privacy Policy

The VET-TEDD Project Management Team is referred to as the ‘Controller’ of the personal data you provide to the Project. The Controller will only collect basic personal data about you which does not include any special types of information or non-work location based information. This may however include name, email, work contact details, social media details and details about your company or organisation.

Why do we need your data?

We need to know your basic personal data in order to maintain effective communication and planning within the Project Team and to deliver the project outputs to a high standard (if you are a recipient of outputs). The Controller will not collect any personal data from you we do not need in order to provide deliver the Project in accordance with the ERASMUS+ Grant Agreement Number 2018-1-UK01-KA202-048188.

What we do with it?

All the personal data we process is processed by our staff in the UK however for the purposes of IT hosting and maintenance this information is located on servers within the European Union and/or United States of America. Data is hosted on the SmartSheet web service and will be stored and protected in accordance with the SmartSheet User Agreement and Privacy Guidance: https://www.smartsheet.com/privacy

Named Project Partners have access to this information and it may be shared with European Commission and/or National Agency auditors. No other third parties have access to your personal data unless the law allows them to do so.

We have a Data Protection regime in place to oversee the effective and secure processing of your personal data.

How long we keep it?

We will maintain personal records for the duration of the project and for up to five years after completion of the funded project phase after which time it will be destroyed. This is a requirement of the EU Project funding audit policy. We will not use your information for marketing purposes.

What are your rights?

If at any point you believe the information we process on you is incorrect you request to see this information and even have it corrected or deleted. If you wish to raise a complaint on how we have handled your personal data, you can contact our Data Protection Officer who will investigate the matter.

If you are not satisfied with our response or believe we are processing your personal data not in accordance with the law you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
